How do online classes work?
- Classes are composed of posted course material (including written lectures, images and videos) and community forums.
- Join at either the Gold, Silver or Bronze level of participation.
- All levels have access to lecture material and instructional videos.
- Gold members post video of their own training sessions and receive feedback from the instructor.
- Both Gold and Silver members can view the forums and submit questions.

Clear Communication: Clicker Training 101
You’ve heard the buzz words “operant conditioning” and “marker training,” but what does that mean in terms of practical dog training? Learn to use this powerful system of communication and take your training to the next level. Learn the theory and get hands on practice.
Overview of foundation skills for competitive obedience, Novice through Utility.
This seminar picks up where Obedience FUNdamentals leaves off. Knowledge of the previous workshop is assumed.
Overview of foundation skills for Rally Obedience.
Dealing with Disconnect
We have all had dogs that "checked out" on us during a training session, or worse, during a performance or competition. A disconnected dog may mentally or physically leave the training session by spacing out, lagging, sniffing, going visiting, getting the "zoomies," or worse, outright fleeing the scene.
In this workshop, we will discuss the different faces of disconnection and possible causes. We will explore and practice techniques and exercises for prevention, as well as strategies for what to do when your dog "checks out."
If you don’t see what you are looking for, we are happy to customize a workshop for you! Any clicker training or reinforcement-based topic is fair game.
Possible topics might include:
- Stimulus Control
- Impulse Control
- Distraction Proofing
- Confidence building
- Ring Nerves (confidence building for humans!)
- Teaching clicker classes
- Any obedience or rally exercise (stays, scent discrimination, jumping, etc)
